DIS Teaching Jobs – 3 Positions
Dar es Salaam Independent School, with registration numbers S.2544 and DS/02/7/037, is seeking qualified staff for the 2025/26 school year. Applications are invited for the following immediate openings.
Open Positions:
- Secondary School Art & Design Teacher (IGCSE & AS/A-Level)
- Secondary School Business Studies Teacher (IGCSE & AS/A-Level)
- Secondary School Geography Teacher (IGCSE & AS/A-Level)
Requirements for Art & Design Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience of Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE & AS/A-Level Art & Design).
- Experience in Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).
- Proven experience teaching Art within the Cambridge curriculum, particularly at the IGCSE and A-Level stages.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Computer skills.
Requirements for Business Studies Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience of Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE & AS/A-Level Business Studies).
- Experience in Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies within the Cambridge curriculum, particularly at the IGCSE and AS/A-Level stages.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Computer skills.
Requirements for Geography Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- Prior teaching experience of Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE & AS/A-Level Geography).
- Experience in Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).
- Proven experience teaching Geography within the Cambridge curriculum, particularly at the IGCSE and AS/A-Level stages.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Computer skills.
General Application Requirements
A degree in/with Education is necessary.
All certificates attached should be certified.
Foreign certificates should be accredited by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
